We started on the weekend of April 19th 2008, in London (where Tricky lives). The first leg was to go to Brighton (where Bear lives)  – the long way round along the coast.  And that’s was as planned as it got. 2009 has seen us already do Brighton to Bournemouth, via the Isle of Wight with more to come.

Sometimes we might go fixed. We might go single speed. Tricky has a Charge Plug; Bear has a rather lovely Surly Crosscheck. We might camp. We might not.

At least the one bit of certainty is that it will be hard, but a huge amount of fun. And to capture the journey both in and out of the saddle we have created this site. We will use it to plan the route, what to take and report on what happens.

*2011 Update*

Well, lots has happened. We are busy porting the old site over to this new, improved site (iWeb just got too cumbersome; we’re now wordpress all the way), and planning our next legs later in the year. Hopefully by the end of the year we’ll  be heading north from Lands End!
